Catch-up Post…

This month is not the one I wanted.

This month hasn’t been the month I wanted so far. I had made a list of blog posts to put out, but my health has been very up and down this year, so good intentions remain just that for now. I’m also having to save my energy for an event later this month and my hospital appointments, so posting should (hopefully) restart next month. For those that don’t know, I have ME and cancer, so I have to pace myself carefully.

I have been prepping for ME Awareness Month this May. I will be posting on my Instagram account (scroll to the bottom of the page for the link) to highlight articles, charities and events, etc, to help raise understanding about the severity of the illness and the increase of patients who have been diagnosed since the pandemic, as well as the increasing research into the cause of this neurological illness.

I’ve added a new page to my blog which lists the links I will be using for my ME Month Instagram posts, plus many others.

One of the events for ME Awareness Month is the Blue Sunday Tea Party. It’s a way for many sufferers of ME to take part in raising money for ME charities. Anna Redshaw, the founder of the Blue Sunday Tea Party, has given an interview for the podcast Post-Exertional Mayonnaise which you can view on YouTube here or below.
